Posted Date:06-05-2010
Complaint Description
:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I had applied for an issue of passport on January 7th, 2010. All the
formalities including the police verification have been completed.
Now, it is month of May already. I am going to need my passport either by the
end of this month or in early June, but the passport is still awaited. Every
time I check the website (www.passport.nic.in) for details, it says that the
police report has not been received.
I shall be very grateful if you could help in this regard.
P.S: Keeping aside the extent to which you might be able to help me, I really
appreciate your interest & efforts you are making for awareness &
public welfare.

Dear Friends at Jago Party, First of all, kindly accept my apologies for a delayed reply as my father had to go through a cardiac surgery & being occupied with the same, I was not able to keep you updated on my complaint status. I would like to inform you that within a few days after you had responded to my complaint, I checked the status of my passport (www.passport.nic.in). Interestingly, the message on the website had changed to something like "The police report has been received & the passport shall be dispatched by 31st May". And today, I am glad to tell you that a few days back, I have received my passport, for which I would like to express my gratitude. You truly deserve it! Thanks & regards!
