:: Sunil Lal dt :: 06-06-2009 The mail I was planning to send you long back but could not get the time due to our business engagements. But yes, I was very much willing to give you my piece of mind, as far as your crusade to cleanse our arliamentary system by floating a political party and contesting election. Yes, one can only do that by joining the active politics. In fact we do have good persons in politics but there are too many bad politicians also which makes a disturbing balance. To weed out the corrupt politicians and corrupt practices we need to change this bloody system. With that aim you are on a right path. But to me it seems that you are in tearing hurry and want to achieve your goal overnight. I am unable to understand that you are out to change the destiny of the Democracy of India and that too in the election year. Sir, we cannot make a difference or out number the full time professional politicians over night. I am afraid that party floated by Mr Shiv Khera, or for that matter may be Arindam Chaudhary would make any mark to the present scenario. I think you have very clear in your memory what happened to Mr TN Sheshan. Despite being an able Administrator and have contributor a lot as a CEC, he could not make to the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Why? It is the biggest Question? Why Pappu Yadav [languishing in Tihar Jail on the pretext of murder and abduction] is a hot selling commodity in our parliamentary democracy and not Mr TN Seshan. Recently when Mr Yadav was released for a day to use his right of vote in parliament as an MP for the Vote of Confidence of Mr Manmohan Singh Government, he challenged in a News Bite that no one can defeat him [even he is in jail] from his constituency. See I am an advertising person. The basic of the advertising and marketing is …. GOOD PRODUCT cannot be sold ‘consistently’ by the BAD ADVERTISING Likewise BAD PRODUCT cannot be sold ‘consistently’ by GOOD ADVERTISING. GOOD PRODUCT can only be sold ‘consistently’ by the GOOD ADVERTISING Mr TN Seshan is a BAD Product for our Parliamentary democracy, whereas Mr Pappu Yadav is a GOOD Product of our Parliamentary Democracy system. No he is not a good product because he is a criminal. Because our ‘Representation of Peoples Act’ has a wide lacuna to allow any person [literate/illiterate] not convicted in any criminal case, to contest the election. In the wake the man with a muscle power can hold his electorate loyal as long as they can. And if the constituency happens to be of Bihar, the task gets lot more easier. Mr Seshan is an avid administrator and reformer of the Electoral College for which India is indebted of him. But instead of going to the parliamentarians seeking their vote to elect him President, he should have gone to masses with the movement to further repeal and make more effective the ‘Representation of Peoples Act’ and further become an icon of Change. In the wake he would have taken his heroic image further with the masses and have been in Parliament to serve India further. You have written that you are not getting proper response. Sir, In India don’t ever try to ride the electoral wave with the help of urban masses. Because the urban elite are the one who have no time to be part of change but have more than enough time to criticize the system over a glass of scotch in their drawing rooms. Secondly I am afraid you might not have the illusion that by giving ads in India Today [like magazines] you have made a mark on the electorates and that you will overnight conquer the parliament on the issue of Reservation and corruption. I would suggest you to take aim and start your crusade at the level of at least 200-250 villages across India addressing their needs of potable water, electricity, village industry, safety, health and education, in the real sense of words, now. And then translate yourself as a GOOD PRODUCT of our parliamentary democracy for the next election [may be in 2014]. For this you ask donations from all over the world. It is a mammoth task. For you are not Pappu Yadav. You are Mr Mittal or Mr Seshan. You cannot motivate your electorate as Pappu Yadav can do. You have to motivate your electorate by your deeds and not by the ads in India Today. After that only your other agenda of weeding out Reservation and Corruption can be taken up. Well I may be wrong in your perception and opinion. Since you have taken one step towards the parliament by floating a political party, my good wishes are with you. Work Harder. Have patience.
:: Replay : We are not in a hurry -- we know it will take time for people to appreciate our vision. We have already started appointing block level presidents all over India who will be popularizing the party among masses at grass root level.
